Kim is a Ph.D. student in Clinical Psychology at Rosalind Franklin University with a focus on pediatric health psychology.

Prior to her Ph.D., she worked as a Research Coordinator with pediatric and young adult populations on studies to understand psychosocial factors and social determinants of health that impact chronic disease management. She was influenced by this work experience and her own experiences in therapy to start the journey training as a clinical psychologist. From her work experience, she noticed the most effective coping strategies were strategies that resonated with the patient on an individual and community level.

She would like to work with a range of clients to implement therapy techniques that speak to the client that involve both actions and behaviors bringing the mind and body together in practice.

Outside her work, she likes photography, running, being a judge at gymnastics competitions, and learning as much as possible through traveling abroad.
